As I was walking to the hot springs at Liard, I started talking to this couple who happened to be going the same way.  It turns out that they're close friends with Tom (with whom I rode up to Deadhorse) and Stacey and Jim, who I met in Talkeetna and ran into several more times.  All are from the Vail CO area, none of them saw each other on this trip, and they didn't all know that the others were even going north!!!
